BROKEN FENCE

You got to take the crookeds with the straights. ~August Wilson

A broken sand fence at Seaside frames the aqua waters of the Gulf. I'm sure the recent winds have much to do with its crookedness. But I'm not sure I'd like it as much were it straight and whole.

  1. I too enjoy it much better in this view as opposed to all new and straight!
thanks for stopping by and visiting the mermaid..this snow storm is just the beginning..our last storm before summer was on MAY 1 2009!!!we'll have snow from now on..interspersed with sunny days with temps in the high 60's..and then plummeting to 40's or lower..
Ballou and I will stay comfy whatever the weather! I might have to book a flight back to Florida, but you can bet I'm gonna be warm!
    warm hugs..

  2. Great photo in all its simplicity! I love every detail on it; the wooden fence, green plant and the grass, deep blue water and lovely blue sky!

  3. You're right, it wouldn't look good if it wasn't weathered. It's drab and dreary here (and very late) so thank you for the heavenly colours!

  4. Great shot! I love odd and off center pictures with broken doors and fences such as this...they tell such stories.
