Two Rhode Island transplants have settled here in Northwest Florida on Escambia Bay. In Rhode Island, we spent most of our summers and fall days sailing the waters of Narragansett Bay, Block Island Sound and Buzzards Bay. We are so delighted to have found another Bay to enjoy.

TAKE OFF
This Heron had been standing still for several minutes. But just as I was about to snap a picture, it spread its wings and started to fly.
This photo really looks so beautiful and interesting. The moment you captured is beautiful and I like very much the reflection of the light on the water.
It's a great shot, the polarized effect (is that what you call it?) works well! Have a great Sunday!
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
ReplyDeleteperfect timing...
Those herons- they just own their space, don't they.
Thanks for the vaca~ pictures...
the next best thing to a cruise, I guess.
Brellies- very cool shot!
I like this so much, herons are my favorite bird to photograph, they're always morphing into something new.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I love the processing effect.
