The sun was down, And all the west was paved with sullen fire. I cried, "Behold! the barren beach of hell At ebb of tide."

Tonight's sunset was like watching the canvas of an artist evolve. As the sun sunk lower on the horizon, the clouds caught the last rays of light, swirling them in a vortex of color and shadow, saturating them in deeper and deeper hues of fire.
Sigh. I almost miss living on the water.

I have enjoyed your recent pics & quotes of our area & beyond.
ReplyDeleteThis artist's canvas can't seem to capture that sunset light...try as I might. Though your shots inspire me to try again.
Noticed it before the holidays...
and want to say Thank you for including me on your blog list. I'm a little slow sometimes... did I miss the big boats in town...again??
Beautiful and breathtaking! Amazing photos.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the visit and kind comments and yes, my header is the view from our bedroom.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are beautiful and your header is a knockout! I'm looking forward to getting to know you. By the way, the only other person I know from Milton is my Aunt Wanda that I discovered while doing our family geneology. ;)
What I can say more after these wonderful words of yours, but these photos are outstanding and the evidence of what fantastic moments you were lucky to enjoy.
