WILDFLOWERS

For myself I hold no preferences among flowers, so long as they are wild, free, spontaneous. Bricks to all greenhouses! Black thumb and cutworm to the potted plant! ~Edward Abbey

Wildflowers along the road from Ft. Pickens.
I spent another afternoon wandering around Ft. Pickens taking pictures. Unfortunately, out of 87 pictures only 5 were worth saving. Something went wrong with my focus. This is one of the five, and even this one is not focused properly.

  1. Time to switch to manual focus?

  2. Most were manual focus. They looked great in the viewfinder, but no so wonderful when I downloaded. I'm still trying to figure it out. Today, my pictures are in perfect focus!

  4. Pretty to me. I have the same problem. It will look perfectly focused and sharp and even on the camera screen, but when I upload it's blurred. Drives me nuts!!!!!

  5. Been there, done that. :-) I also know how frustrating it is!

The flowers you show here are the striking Cardinal Flower, one of our beautiful native wild flowers.
