Two Rhode Island transplants have settled here in Northwest Florida on Escambia Bay. In Rhode Island, we spent most of our summers and fall days sailing the waters of Narragansett Bay, Block Island Sound and Buzzards Bay. We are so delighted to have found another Bay to enjoy.

DENIZENS OF THE SHORE
We spent a lovely day at Navarre Beach today, and shared the sand and water with some lovely feathered friends.
Shore birds are among my favorites they're so intent on what they're doing - even when they look like they're not doing anything I know they are. The laughing gull is perfect, made me chuckle.
Absolutely lovely 'portraits' and ahhh that water!

ReplyDeleteAren't those Black Bellies just stunning? While at water aerobics this morning had a FABULOUS viewing of a bald eagle overhead. Sure made my day.
