Two Rhode Island transplants have settled here in Northwest Florida on Escambia Bay. In Rhode Island, we spent most of our summers and fall days sailing the waters of Narragansett Bay, Block Island Sound and Buzzards Bay. We are so delighted to have found another Bay to enjoy.

BL, I don't know how I missed this clever post! OK, I know how, the move, Christmas, etc. What a gorgeous set of photos and I'm soooo sorry I'm just now getting to to see them.
These aren't photos, they're magic! Love them!
ReplyDeleteWow, these are brilliant reflections!
ReplyDeleteI like both photos but the first one has a compelling quality. I love the way the tree reflects alone in the water. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteOn the right-hand-side in the bottom photo I get the feeling of a crocodile's teeth!
ReplyDeleteWhat you have captured elsewhere in your photo, however, is quite magical.
Wow! Those are gorgeous. I love the reflection in the water. Really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteDo you mind me asking why the Tallow tree is considered invasive? Maybe my tree isn't a Tallow tree. Do you think it's a different tree?
We've had this one for almost 7 years and it's not sprouted up any where on the property. Maybe it's not a Tallow.
Have a great Monday!
