A poor representation of last night's light show.
Two Rhode Island transplants have settled here in Northwest Florida on Escambia Bay. In Rhode Island, we spent most of our summers and fall days sailing the waters of Narragansett Bay, Block Island Sound and Buzzards Bay. We are so delighted to have found another Bay to enjoy.

SILHOUETTE
Last night was one of those nights that you hope you can lock in your memory for a lifetime. The sunset was beyond spectacular and changed in color and intensity every few minutes. I finally gave up trying to take a good picture, realizing that what I was seeing could not be captured by a mere camera. So, I poured a glass of wine and sat on the dock with my dog and just watched.

ReplyDeleteawesome!!
while you enjoyed a spectacular sunset of epic colors, I was smiling at the beauty around me as softly falling snow slowly wrapped my world in a soft blanket of white..tied neatly with a ribbon of silence!
Our Master certainly knows how to create masterpieces all over his planet at any given time and place!
simply awesome!

I wish I could see this everyday, you are so fortunate. It's beautiful and I'll bet you never see the same one twice.
