WEEKEND REFLECTIONS #4: MIRROR LAKE

During our visit to Bellingrath Gardens (see post below) the lights on the lake were beautifully reflected. But I noticed a tree that had been lit from below also reflected in the water. I wish I had had a better lens with me, it was much more dramatic in person.

  1. That's gorgeous, especially the blue eye. I'm glad you got out there before the cold moved in.

  2. I am glad Paula mentioned the blue eye. I went back to the embiggened version.

This is quite delightful both as a scene and as a reflection. That special touch is the two-way process for the tree.

  3. A reflective, electric swan lake - highly original :-)

  4. I think it's quite dramatic as it is ~ I can only imagine what, in person, it must have "felt" like. I too went back to enlarge to find the hidden blue eye. Well worth usage of the back button!
