Two Rhode Island transplants have settled here in Northwest Florida on Escambia Bay. In Rhode Island, we spent most of our summers and fall days sailing the waters of Narragansett Bay, Block Island Sound and Buzzards Bay. We are so delighted to have found another Bay to enjoy.

SPRING WINDS
Sunday morning dawned bright and sunny with a howling 25 -30 mph wind. Our usually tranquil bay was roiling with white caps and waves crashing into the seawall. A windy welcome to spring.
Rough sea, splash of waves, palm trees, two chairs...what a beautiful place; something I can only enjoy while looking at photos or TV! Wonderful photos!
Stormy indeed but beautiful colours, the blue in the background is great!
I love carrots. I would bake a carrot cake, make carrot soup, carrot salad, put them in the pan with a little sugar... Oh that picture of your carrots is inspiring me! :-)

ReplyDeleteThat's how Puget Sound often looks!
ReplyDeleteI was surprised by the chill we got on Sunday, especially when the breeze picked up. Today was gorgeous though.
ReplyDeleteI can taste the salt water.
