DAKOTA'S LAZY SUNDAY

Last Sunday was a blustery (blew about 25 -30 knots all day) but warm day, the kind of day you want to curl up with the newspaper and a hot cup of coffee and watch the waves crash over your sea wall, killing all vegetation in its path. My faithful Dakota got right into the mood, found a sunny spot of grass and soaked up the sunshine. After coffee was gone and newspaper read, I thought a little exercise would benefit both of us, but she wanted no part of a game of fetch. Sometimes that dog has real attitude problems, but ain't she cute!

Uh oh, here she comes with that darn stick. I must have looked too comfortable.

Seriously? Does this look like the face of a dog who wants to play fetch?

Hey, good throw. You've got a pretty good arm there.

Now, GO FETCH and leave me alone.

  2. She's a smart dog. All the smartest dogs know just how to find the sunny spot.

  3. Dakota is a beauty. Albert would go for her in a big way. (And fetch the stick.)

  4. Maybe we should do a bi-coastal friendship.

  5. We could try, once Albert learns his letters. We're almost up to A.

  6. Dakota is gorgeous and looks like a chill meister. Ranger does not fetch or hold things on his nose. He just likes getting really, really really excited about things. Really.
