ZOOTOGRAPHY

An animal's eyes have the power to speak a great language. ~Martin Buber

I took a photography class at The Zoo Northwest Florida and as part of our instruction we were given a tour of certain areas of the Zoo in order to photograph some of the animals. Unfortunatel
y, I had the wrong lens to do the assignments for this class, but I had a wonderful time just the same snapping the various animals we had access to.

A Great Blue Heron. Took this picture from a boardwalk above the heron and wasn't aware of the two shadows until I downloaded the picture.

The water below the boardwalk was filled with turtles. This little fellow had just surfaced when I spotted him.

No head in the sand for this lovely ostrich. He was as curious about us as we were about him.

These aligators just heard the dinner bell and were rushing to be fed.

First one there gets the treat. That black log-like biscuit is the prize!

The fierce look of the redtail hawk

One more picture then I'm outta here!
